This policy explains what information Sefr Inc. collects through this website and through potato, our AI phone host for restaurants, and how we use and protect it.

Who we are

Sefr Inc. operates sefr.ai and potato. You can reach us at:

What we collect

• Contact details you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number and restaurant name, when you contact us or sign up for potato.
• For restaurants using potato: the phone numbers of people who call the restaurant, call audio and transcripts, and the order and reservation details callers provide.
• Basic technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and request times, kept by our hosting providers to run and secure the service.

This website does not use cookies or analytics.

How we use it

• to provide and improve the service, including answering and handling calls;
• to send service text messages, such as order and reservation alerts;
• to respond to enquiries.

We do not sell personal information.

AI and recordings

Calls to potato are answered by an AI voice assistant and may be recorded and transcribed to provide the service. Callers are told this at the start of the call.

Service providers

We share data only with providers that help us run the service, and only as needed to do so:

• telephony and messaging (Twilio);
• voice AI (ElevenLabs);
• AI language processing (Anthropic);
• maps and business information (Google);
• hosting and database providers.

SMS and mobile information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Retention and security

We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations and resolve disputes, and then delete or anonymize it. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, such as encryption in transit and access controls, to protect it. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information. If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, use and disclose; to request deletion or correction; to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information (we do not sell or share it); and not to be discriminated against for using these rights.

Children

Our website and service are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above.
